Commander Emil Clash is a former US Army soldier, now a UN officer who now assists Captain Planet, the Planeteers, and Gaia for their help. He was voiced by the late Louis Gossett Jr.
Appearance[]
Commander Clash has the same height and build as Argos Bleak, but with black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. He wears a green vest and cargo pants, a grey belt, combat boots, and a white shirt.
Personality[]
Like any other soldier, Clash has to follow orders without question, even though if they are very old. But, unlike one of them, he is extremely smart. He deeply cares about the island and will do whatever it takes to protect his home base from intruders. Thanks to the Planeteers' advice, he got a new mission: keep the environment clean, prevent anyone who ruins it, and save Earth.
Skills, Abilities, and Equipment[]
Due to his training at the military, Commander Clash has exceptional physical prowess. For years of experience, he knows how to survive on the island and fight opponents on equal grounds. He possesses a gifted mind that allows him to invent all sorts of high-tech equipment for defense or protection.

- Aqua Tank: An assault vehicle equipped with a custom-built cannon that fires high pressure streams of water at its targets.
- Eco-Weapons: Four elemental gadgets designed to simulate the rings' powers.
- Ionizer: A bazooka-like device capable of drawing out any toxic substance from living things.
